Script Coverage Only Terms and Conditions

These Script Coverage Only Terms and Conditions ("Coverage Terms") are an integral part of the Terms and Conditions available at Call Sheet Media Terms (https://callsheetmedia.com/legal.html) and Call Sheet Media Terms (https://callsheetmedia.com/legalfull.html). By purchasing script coverage only, you represent and warrant that you have read and fully understand these Coverage Terms.

These Coverage Terms are incorporated by reference into the main Terms and Conditions at the URLs above. By purchasing script covergae only, you agree to and accept these Coverage Terms.

If you are purchasing script coverage only, please note that the following terms and conditions apply. While CSM Mentor Program participants receive script coverage at no charge, these terms govern any purchase made outside the Program.

Authority and Submission

By ordering our script coverage only service (“Coverage”), you represent and warrant that you have full authority and authorization to submit the work for review. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Call Sheet Media (CSM), its affiliates, and employees from any and all third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your script submission.

Turnaround Time

You acknowledge that the estimated turnaround time for the Coverage may be up to twenty-eight (28) days, although this timeframe is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery period. CSM will use commercially reasonable efforts to complete the Coverage as promptly as possible.

Non-Refundable Payment

You agree that all payments made for the Coverage are non-refundable for any reason. CSM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or related to the Coverage.

Ownership and Intellectual Property

When submitting the script for review as part of the Coverage, you represent and warrant that you are the sole and exclusive author and owner of all rights, titles, interests, and copyrights in and to the script.

You acknowledge that CSM, due to its role in the entertainment industry, is exposed to various ideas, formats, stories, suggestions, concepts, and materials, many of which may be similar or identical to the script you submit. You understand that CSM may have independently developed, or may develop in the future, ideas or concepts similar to the script without reference to it. As such, you agree that you will not be entitled to any compensation or other consideration due to CSM’s use of similar or identical materials, ideas, or concepts.

Release of Claims

By submitting the script, you irrevocably release, discharge, and hold harmless CSM and its affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, and demands, including but not limited to claims of infringement or misappropriation, arising out of or related to CSM’s review, consideration, or use of the script. This release includes any claims that CSM has used or appropriated the script, in whole or in part, whether knowingly or unknowingly.

Payment Terms

You authorize CSM to charge your provided credit card(s) for any outstanding payments due. If utilizing a multiple-payment plan, you consent to CSM processing all charges as they become due without requiring separate authorization. You agree not to initiate chargebacks or cancel the credit card used for payment without CSM’s prior written consent. Should a chargeback occur, you will be responsible for all associated fees, collection fees, and a $100 penalty for each chargeback. Additionally, you agree to pay a $25 service fee for each unsuccessful attempt by CSM to process a scheduled payment. If you need to update your credit card information, you agree to notify CSM in advance.
